…is tomorrow but a card came the other day for an appointment with the oncologist for today so not sure what is happening.
Beginning to detect the pattern, T is Ok for a few days after chemo then gets all tired and manky then comes right again a few days before the next round.
He has lost an alrming amount of weight, went down to 63kgs but is now back around 65kgs, the world beater him!!!!
He is quite wobbly on his pins which is caused apparently by the steroids but gets around Ok with his stick.
We were at the Doctors(the GP) the other day on an unrelated matter and the Dr suddenly asked T what day and month it was- he never had a clue but then before this he probably would not have had a clue either!
The Dr read my report from the oncologist , apparently I am’consumed’ with my husbands illness and have bigger fish to fry (meaning T I suppose) than to enter into any discussion on my health!!!
Weather is gorgeous at present, great weed growing stuff. i am just managing to stay on top of the place but would not want to do it too much longer on my own. Have help on a saturday, have the lawns mowed and weed eating done.
We take over the new house in town on the 22nd, Friday week, so have organised a carrier to take in enough stuff from here to enable us to camp in town for two nights a week. We are both quite anxious about how we will cope with being townies again. i have lived half my life in the boondocks…
Told the estate agent to pull his finger out and his responses was to say he was leaving real estate that Friday!!! He also told us he had had his best two months ever!!!!
Am defeated by the toggle Rob, can’t bring the photos up to see what they are like….So sitting on my hands at present re selling this place….
To the oncologist was OK, T is a bit low in whatever the blood requirement is but not at transfusion level …yet.
He had another dose of chemo today,13 November and will have another lot on December 4th then he will have a chest xray and a brain scan and will either have good news for xmas or bad!!!!
We stopped at Patricks for him to have a pie on the way home , now having a snooze in the sun.
